The 2012 Arts in Harmony International Juried Art Show is the best yet. This is based on direct comments, overheard comments, and my personal opinion. Arts in Harmony is sponsored by the Elk River Area Arts Alliance. Artwork, 570 pieces, from 196 artists in 34 states ( Hawaii to New York , Alaska to Texas , The Rocky Mountain Range, and the Midwest ) formed the basis for selection. Ultimately 156 works from 129 artists were selected.

The Best of Show went to Linda Nelson, Arden Hills , Minnesota , for Wassily Chair.
This show clearly demonstrates that Elk River is, indeed, on the map. This exhibition should also serve to inspire artists that the visual arts can be vocations. Many of these works are for sale; a small commission from the sales goes to support Elk River Area Arts Alliance. This is your opportunity acquire “really good art” before prices escalate.
